He was found alone on a rural country road in Georgia, with no one in sight, but He hasn't let that lonely start dampen her spirit. Cletus is your typical friendly, sweet puppy - playful, curious, and eager for love. He's still learning about the world and will need continued guidance with things like potty training, leash manners, and crate time, but He is ready to learn! He gets along well with people and is ready to blossom in a home that gives him patience, structure, and affection. Cletus is hoping to catch a ride to Wisconsin on 9/6, but he needs a committed foster or adopter lined up in order to board the transport. He can be adopted right off the van, but someone must be confirmed on the receiving end. Apply: Fill out adoption application completely and submit all necessary documents. 2.)Application Decision: approved applicants will be notified via phone call and email. ?3.)Foster-to-Adopt Trial Period: after approval, you have the opportunity to do a meet and greet and bring your dog home! You get a 5 day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period to make sure its the right fit. 4.) Final Decision: By the end of the FTA period, please let us know your final decision to adopt or return the dog to our rescue. 5.) Home Visit: After the adoption process we conduct a home visit either in person or via zoom meeting to ensure that everything is going well with the transition and to answer any final questions you may have. 6.) Neuter/spay for puppies: for dogs who are not fixed at the time of adoption, we will reimburse for the procedure once we receive proof of spay/neuter. The procedure MUST be done at HAWS Snip Clinic in Waukesha, WI or Wisconsin Community Veterinarian Center in Madison, WI. If you would like to go through your veterinarian or another location, we will reimburse $150 once we receive proof of the procedure. We recommend spay/neuter around 6 months old. **Note: Adoptions are not considered final until the dog is neutered/spayed if applicable**
