About Tucker

Hi, I'm Tucker! I'm a 3 year old Standard poodle (I just had my birthday) and I'm looking for my forever home. I'm a sweet, cuddly boy who loves to be close. What is personal space?? I walk nicely on a leash, but I do get scared of sudden noises. I'll need someone patient to help me feel safe and build my confidence. Once I trust you, I'll be your very best friend. I like other dogs but I also like my space and sometimes I will tell them I like my space. I also love kids but I like to use my mouth to play but I promise I'm not trying to hurt them. I come with my kennel if you want it, a bed, my favorite toy, akc paperwork, and microchip information. My family loves me very much I need more attention than what they can give me. They want what is best for me. I grew up attached to the hip of my older sister (not from the same litter or the same parents) so I never really learned independence or confidence without her. I know basic commands but when I get excited I sometimes forget what you tell me to do. I pee when I get scared but my family works hard to try to correct it but not to scare me more. I will be your best friend if you can give me the time I need for training. I'm very smart. I am currently fully shaved down because my owners found fleas on me but they've been giving me medicine to make it better and flea baths. I've never had fleas before moving to Florida. I know how to behave at the groomers except for my feet. I will pull away if they touch my feet. I require a lot of work but I know I can be the best boy because that's what my parents tell me. Could you be my person?
