About Paola

Domestic Cat / American Shorthair
Age: Young Kitten
Sex: Female

I'm Paola! My name means 'small and humble' - its a name that also says 'I will always be your baby- no matter how big I get.' I love finding tight spots to nap in- a little too much. Paola is the feistiest of her siblings. It turns out that that she is not a fan of dogs - she is very close with her sister Chickpea. We think she is missing her siblings and feels lost. Being the last picked is never fun - but she and Chickpea are thick as thieves- and either together or apart they will make you one of their own! P.S. Paola is litter box trained- but I've never been in a house before- so please teach her with patience to not be in places you do not want me to be! NOTE: We are convinced that Paola was a mouser or a barn cat in one of her former nine lives. That is not to say that after getting tuckered out she'd like to be held.....for a minute. This tuxedo baby is fearless- and she will always call your bluff. If you do indeed get to grace Ms. Paola with your presence - it will be you and her against the world! Note: Paola's new favorite game is to pass a ball back and forth and can even stop the ball from rolling too far away from her tail! Hello there the adoption fee is $20.00 CASH OR CHECK it is low as we do not spay/neuter our animals or vaccinate as we do not have a vet on site. Upon adoption you would sign a legal contract stating that within sixty days you will get them sterilized and vaccinated per state requirement. Sometimes due to age or complications the 60 day window can be extended however only by a vets discretion. You do not legally own the animal until proof of vaccination and sterilization have been given to us. You may come to the shelter any day of the week between 8 am and 4 pm, just please give us a call beforehand to let us know you are coming at 281 291 5644. Thank you!
