About Daisi

Meet Daisi! This sweet 11 month old girl was surrendered to our rescue after her owners were being deported. Daisi is house trained, dog friendly (with slow, proper introductions), crate trained, knows 'sit', 'down', 'stay', 'come', 'wait', 'heel', 'paw', and 'roll over'. Daisi is up to date on all vaccines and is spayed. Daisi just finished up going through professional training because we felt like she needed to work on her impulse control before being available for adoption. Daisi is very smart and high energy. She can be a couch potato after an hour of exercise but be prepared for her to be your running buddy or hiking partner. Daisi is dog friendly but does better with playful male dogs. She does love to chase squirrels and birds. In her previous foster home, the foster had cats and Daisi would fixate on them and try to chase them. Therefore, we are recommending that she not go to a home with cats. In Daisi's previous home before she was surrendered, she lived with teenagers and adults. While Daisi has generally done well around young children in public, we would prefer her to go to a home with kids over the age of 14. Daisi has had a sad start to life and deserves the best home! She is very sweet and loves to be affectionate towards her people. We will do whatever we have to do in order to get her into a loving home. We are open to adopting her out of state in the hopes that it gives her more exposure and a greater chance of finding the perfect family. One more thing... we are not opposed to Daisi living in an apartment, as that was her previous foster home. As long as Daisi gets the exercise she needs, she really is the perfect dog!
