Florence (A282372) is an 8-year-old senior girl who urgently needs placement by August 22 at 6 p.m. She is losing weight due to the stress and noise of the shelter and truly deserves to spend her golden years in a safe, loving home. Florence may be a senior, but she still loves to play and enjoys being active with her people. She is crate trained, housebroken, and dog-friendly, though she does best with medium or high-energy males. She is also kid-friendly and previously lived in a foster home with children ranging in age from infant to four years old, where she did wonderfully. She does require twice-daily oral medication due to mast cell cancer, but she takes her medication easily and without fuss. These medications will be provided at no cost while she is in foster care, and adopters will receive a 90-day supply from PCACC free of charge. This gentle, cooperative senior just wants a quiet home where she can be spoiled, loved, and cared for. Please consider opening your heart and home to Florence before it's too late.
