Meet Honey - The Velcro Pup with a Heart of Gold! Honey is a sweet and shy young pup with soulful eyes and a gentle heart. Rescued from a home without electricity where she was sadly abandoned, she's still learning to trust-but she's blossoming into a loving and playful companion with a quirky personality all her own. Honey is a certified 'Velcro dog'-she wants to be with you all the time and will follow you from room to room, happily hopping into your lap whenever she gets the chance. Personal space? Not in Honey's world! She just wants to be close to her people. Honey does well in her crate. She also proved herself to be quite the little escape artist, opening a wooden gate and getting out of the yard. For this reason, Honey will need a secure, fenced yard and an adopter who understands her curious and determined nature. She's potty trained to a potty pad but also at times will use a doggy door.She up to date on vaccinations and spayed. She loves other calm, gentle dogs, and she'll thrive in a peaceful, patient home where she can feel safe and loved. Honey is still shy around men But given time she warms up. She is hesitant to be petted by children, though she'll gently take treats from little hands. Once she trusts you, her silly, joyful side comes out-especially when she's zooming around with a favorite toy! Honey is one-of-a-kind: affectionate, quirky, and endlessly loyal.
