Tinsel is a 10-month-old puppy with a heart full of love and a little bit of shyness. Having been in foster care since she was 8 weeks old, she's had experience with kids, dogs, and cats and is now ready to find her forever family. While she's a little unsure when meeting new people or dogs, Tinsel will warm up with patience, gentle conversation, and proper introductions. A few treats certainly help, too! She may start out barking or cowering, but once she feels comfortable, she's a sweet and loyal companion. Tinsel is playful and loves chewing on bones, and she's making steady progress with walking on a leash-though she's still working on gaining confidence in that area. She rides well in the car, and is comfortable in her crate, which she enjoys as a safe, cozy space. She kennels nicely and is doing great with potty training as long as she's on a consistent schedule. Like many puppies, she can sometimes have accidents if she's feeling scared or anxious, but she's learning to manage her emotions with support. Tinsel is a calm and quiet sleeper, getting up once during the night to go outside and then going back to bed with no fuss. She knows her name and responds when called, showing her growing trust and connection with her people. She knows 'sit' and is working on 'down.' She loves to be near you, whether you're working, relaxing, or playing-she's happiest when she's with her family or lounging in the sunny window. If you're looking for a sweet pup who just needs a little time to settle in, Tinsel could be the perfect match for you! With a little patience, love, and training she'll be the loyal and loving companion you've been waiting for.
