Rocky, A2042285 at West Valley Shelter is on Orange Alert!!!! Needs Medial help & may be euthanized at any time if medical condition declines!!!! Rocky is in our critical care medical room. He needs to see a private Veterinarian. Rocky A2042284 at WV is on Orange Alert/Major Medical Multiple bite wounds from a dog fight. Entire left forelimb swelling due to bite wounds. Rocky is a 4-year-old brown brindle, neutered Pitbull/Boxer mix who was owner-surrendered to West Valley Animal Shelter on August 13, 2025 due to being aggressive toward other animals. Rocky is currently not a candidate for foster through the shelter because of his high FAS (fear, anxiety, and stress). He is a large dog, and staff have been unable to safely obtain his weight or fully handle him at this time. Sadly, Rocky is also injured with bite wounds and needs someone experienced and capable of handling a dog in his condition. He requires a committed rescue or adopter who understands his challenges and is willing to help him heal, both physically and behaviorally. Time is critical - if Rocky's medical condition declines, he may be euthanized at any time!!!
