About Lacey

Our Lacey girl is an adorable 4lb toy poodle. She shares her joy and love with exuberant tail wags and little, wet doggy kisses. Once she is comfortable with people/other dogs, she is affectionate and playful. She loves to chase little balls, chase and wrestle with Mochi (her doggy companion) and go anywhere her people are going. If she's feeling neglected, she will scratch at your ankle until you acknowledge her with a little back scratch or, even better, pick her up and love on her. Lacey needs a playmate and snuggle partner to be happy. Currently she gets that from her humans and her bestie, Mochi. She and Mochi are a bonded pair and must go to the same home. (Mochi is also listed on this site.) Lacey can't stand cats and has an obsession with chasing squirrels. Lacey can't be trusted with small toys lying around... she likes to chew on plastic and thinks all small stuffed animals are for her... so make sure things are picked up. She was potty trained with puppy pads and as a result, thinks area rugs are a potty place. If there is not an obvious exit, she will pee and poop in the house so she needs a doggy door. Lacey has food allergies and is currently in the process of switching to a prescription dogfood. We love our Lacey girl, but personal circumstances have become such that we are unable to give Lacey and Mochi the attention and care they deserve. We would like any interested parties to meet Lacey and Mochi in person, and be able to ask/answer questions to determine if it's a good fit. Thank you!
