She doesn't understand why nobody comes to help her... She doesn't know the shelter has marked her for euthanasia. All she knows is that when a volunteer took her out, she wagged her tail softly, leaned in for gentle pets, and showed nothing but calm, sweet gratitude. Stephanie is low-energy. She's adoptable. She's safe around other calm dogs. She would be the perfect quiet companion. But the shelter doesn't care how sweet or adoptable she is. They will end her life simply because nobody has stepped up to claim her and there's no more space for her...
