About Dudley

(DOB 07/31/2024) Dudley is a sweet and friendly pup who loves being around people. He's a total snuggle bug who enjoys pets, cuddles, and simply being near his humans. He's very social and loves greeting anyone who comes to visit, always eager to make new friends. Dudley has been around children (ages 5 and 7) and does well, especially when they're calm and gentle. He listens well, comes when called, and is making great progress with his training. He's still working on some potty training and learning to better communicate when he needs to go out-he sometimes whines, but not consistently. He's also learning not to jump up when saying hello, and with continued guidance, he's sure to improve. He is crate trained. Dudley gets along with other dogs and could be an only dog in a home or with other fun, friendly pups. He does well with cats that don't run; if they take off, he may chase, but he's not aggressive. He walks okay on a leash but can pull, so a bit more leash training would help him thrive. Because Dudley loves to play and explore, he needs a home with a secure yard and a fence (he can be a little escape artist, so keep your eye on this cutie) that's at least 4-5 feet tall. He's an affectionate, loyal pup who will make a wonderful companion for a family ready to continue helping him learn and grow! Dudley is not a fan of sharing his food and treats with other dogs, so make sure you feed him in his crate, so everyone stays happy. Dudley is getting use to car rides and he is pretty good but is still a little fidgety. This gentle and sweet boy that is totally irresistible whether it's his wagging tail, snuggly nature, or the way he looks at you with those big eyes-you just can't help but smile and pet him! As part of Dudley's $300 adoption fee, he will be neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.
