Courtesy Posting: PALMDALE, CA (S CAL)- LOS ANGELES COUNTY ANIMAL CARE & CONTROL- ID #A5716281 'WALLY'- 6 years young, gentle giant CODE RED/X URGENT, SHELTER IS FULL- SWEET, DOG FRIENDLY - GOOD HOME, OR FOSTER AND RESCUE NEEDED ASAP Please help us find a loving home, or foster and or rescue asap for this sweet big boy fondly named Wally after being found as a stray and ending up at the very full Palmdale shelter. His owners sadly never came. The shelter estimates he is 6 years old and says he weight 110 lbs. The shelter has Wally now kenneled with a smaller german shepherd mix- and gave us video of the dogs doing well together. We were told this other dog, Max, is a new Friend for Wally, but they are not related. We understand Max needs an exit plan too and is already on euthanasia warning, but both dogs need out asap. We have a separate post for Max who is only 54 lbs. His ID is #A5719090. A bit more information on Wally: He was initially fearful on exam, but no aggression shown. He had a URI when he came in, but this has been treated already, and he was found to no longer have symptoms. Wally is approved for public adoption with calm dogs once he is neutered. For direct adoption inquiries for either dog, please contact the shelter asap by calling (661) 575-2888 and asking for him/them by ID. All dogs will be neutered for an adopter, if not already done. Most rescues do need a foster to save a dog. Rescue groups may email the shelter at: [email protected] and [email protected] Videos, additional pictures and updates will be posted on facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/debbie.alder.14/posts/pfbid0K2D8dyTqrCBfoNdVcTQntKSM1xpGyfE4rYNZD8Ud3opD8mwqRtXBcqPGGbP8EiRzl Note: to view contents of links you will need to copy and paste each one separately into your browser.
