About Khloe Pending Adoption

PENDING ADOPTION Please submit our adoption questionnaire so we can determine if she is a match for your family! Little 11 month old Khloe was found wandering the streets with a leash dragging and electric shock collar on her. It took animal control a week to trap her. She was terrified, alone and almost hit by multiple cars in one of the busiest intersections in the Inland Empire. She had the will to survive. Where did she go at night? Dragging a leash was probably even more scary...then to be in the shelter and nobody comes for her? WHY!? She obviously was someone's pet at one point. We watched and waited for her. We offered to foster her during her stray hold period but legally the shelter told us we couldn't because she was not yet their property. So there we were this morning...10:00 am SHARP to get her out the very second she was ready. Understandably Khloe was super super hyper when she was pulled. She had over ten days of pent up energy and was in the darkest dungeon at the back of the shelter. She zoomed around for a full hour then collapsed for a nap. She did well during her 'bath' standing 'mostly' still for the wonderful feeling of cleanliness. So in one day we have learned SO MUCH about this beautiful girl. She loves to play and run with her foster sister Weims. YES...she has loads of energy...LOADS! She is a Weimaraner puppy after all. We found that she loves kisses....and is also a wee bit mouthy but stops when told. She loves her stuffy toy provided to her by her foster mom. She carries it with her everywhere! She will give it back on command and even knows sit, stay, down and paw!!!! She will chase and bring back waiting for more fun. Someone had to have loved her at one point! She did not hesitate at using the doggy door. In and out with no accidents inside the house. Overall Khloe is a beautiful healthy happy girl! She does need a little bit of work as all puppies do! If you want a super sweet active female Weim this girl is for you. She would do best in a home with other tolerant dogs to keep her stimulated. We have found that Khloe will walk right into a crate and sleep the entire night without a sound. She has NOT been crated and left alone yet to see how she does but that is coming next.
