About Rune

Hi neighbors! I'm urgently trying to help rehome my friends' sweet young rescue cat named Rune. His original family moved overseas and couldn't take him, and unfortunately he isn't getting along with my resident cat, Oreo-so we're looking for a loving, cat-experienced person or couple to give him a safe, peaceful home. Rune is about a year old, fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and flea-treated. He's been treated at Morrisville Cat Hospital and has a clean bill of health, we have all his papers and medical records. He's incredibly affectionate with people and super playful, but he missed early socialization with other cats, so he needs to be an only-cat in a home where he can get structure, love, play, and all the attention to himself. ���� His original family loves him dearly and is offering to sponsor his care for the first 3 months-they'll help with food, litter, toys, and even vet costs if someone is willing to give him a stable home. (He already has tons of favorite toys and lives for wand play.) They're also available to answer questions and support the transition however they can. If you or someone you know has room in their heart-and home-please reach out ASAP. We have been reaching out to no kill shelters with no success. They are too full with kitten season. We'd love to get Rune placed soon to avoid putting him into a shelter system where there's a chance he might not make it.
