About Libby

Libby is a 11-month-old Heeler/Shepherd mix with a big personality and even bigger energy! Weighing in at about 50 pounds, this fun-loving pup is both potty trained and kennel trained, and she's a great passenger in the car. Libby loves going for walks and is already learning to walk nicely on a leash. She's an active girl who would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard and another playful, energetic dog to be her best buddy. While she hasn't been around kids yet, we think she'd do great with older children-she's still working on not jumping, so she might be too much for little ones right now. Libby's ideal adopter is someone active, patient, and ready to keep up with her high energy and playful spirit. She's incredibly sweet, loving, and eager to bond with her people. Libby had a tough start-abandoned as a newborn without her mom, she was bottle-fed and lovingly raised by rescuers. This early connection with humans has made her especially affectionate and people-focused. Because she plays hard, we recommend she not live with very small or senior dogs.
