This classic blue guy is Bandit. He is a 4 years old Australian Cattle Dog who weighs 50 pounds. He does have a docked tail. He needs a home because his family is moving. Bandit is a smart guy who already knows: come, sit, lie down, stay, crate, back up, in, out, and off. He also knows a few tricks: Spin and up (jump). So smart! Bandit is house and crate trained. Bandit is a social guy who likes people. He gets excited to meet and could knock small kids over. While he has been around small kids and been polite, we think he is best in a home with older kids (or no kids). Bandit can be dog selective, mostly with Huskies. He prefers mellow polite dogs of his same size. He is also fine living as an only dog. Bandit is good on leash and is most polite if his walks are consistent. When he doesn't get enough exercise, he can get excited on leash when there are distractions. This is a guy who appreciates a family who makes sure he gets the needed exercise and structure. He is a Cattle Dog, after all! Bandit can be a bit nervous at the start of a car ride but does chill out, especially on long rides. Bandit is a wonderful buddy. He is sweet, loyal, and a cuddler. He's super playful and does great with rope toys and flirt poles. He just needs a home who know how to keep a working dog busy so he can then give that person back all of his love. Bandit is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He is located in Long Beach, CA, and is ready to meet adopters who can come here to adopt. A home visit and vet reference are required to adopt.
