FOUND AS A STRAY, NOW ON THE EUTH LIST - NEEDS LOVING, RESPONSIBLE HOME, OR FOSTER AND RESCUE ASAP Please help us find a loving, forever home (or foster and rescue) for this handsome, petite boy who is estimated to be 3- 5 years young and weighs only 35 lbs. We are calling him 'Pumpkin'. Sadly, his owner never showed, and the shelter has sent out a plea for help as he is now ill with kennel cough and nasal discharge, and has been placed on meds. We are unclear if he is Rescue only for medical, or can be adopted with a medical waiver. If rescue only, we can refer potential adopters to a rescue group to help to foster to adopt that way. Please note however he has been added to the euth list with a 8/19 at 3 pm deadline to exit, 2 pm to commit. The shelter has already stated no extensions will be granted. The shelter notes also state, he was 'able to handle and pet, skittish around other dogs, per finder was acting aggressive to other people and dogs while loose, on advanced treatment for kennel cough, cloudy nasal discharge, needs further medical care.' we are unclear when he was started on medicine, but the notice went out 8/12.
