About Rudy

Meet Rudy Rudy! Rudy! Rudy! This little Labradoodle butterball is a BIG snuggler and cuddler. He is incredibly sweet. He loves to romp with his siblings and then looks for the nearest lap or puppy pile to snooze in. He has a beautiful silky and curly coat. His Mom is about 50 lbs. Rudy, and his siblings, look like they will also grow to be around 50 lbs., although it's hard to say for sure. If you love a doodle, get your application in. Rudy will be fixed before going home. All adopters must complete an approval process which involves a reference check with current/recent vet and a brief home visit if located in the immediate area. We do permit out-of-state adoptions. Adopters MUST come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. We do not ship, nor do we transport them to their new homes. Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Resident animals are either owner relinquished rescued from area Animal Controls or high kill shelters. The facility usually operates at capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open.
