About Barney

Barney is a very sweet boy who is loving his life outside of the shelter. The vet thinks he is around 4 years old, and he is more than happy to go play around outside or just hang out on the couch. He is not food motivated, but he reacts well to a stern no and plenty of positive reinforcement. He is still adjusting to home life, as the shelter believes he was an outdoors dog before being turned in. He is shy and quiet, but he has been very brave with us so far at the dog park near our apartments. He did a cat test when we adopted him, and he was interested but not aggressive. He would thrive in a home that can give him plenty of love and time to continue to adjust to his new life. Things like TVs and dishwashers are definitely new to him, but he is just an overall very curious boy. We do not know how he is with children, but he has been good with everyone he has met so far.
