About Shady Medical Alert

She is showing improvement & has been taken off Euthanasia list!! This is great news! Shady needs a hero!!! Update:8/13/25: Shady stood up on all four legs and she was able to stand without assistance. Took several steps, though ataxic and knuckling on the rear. Urinating on own. Good appetite. continue cage rest and steroid therapy. East Valley Shelter has a 4 year old French Bulldog on Orange Alert 'Shady' #A2214510 and is scheduled to be euthanized on 8/15/25 by 4PM!!!! Shady is in our critical care medical room. She needs to see a private Veterinarian. Medical Notes: Frenchie presented with rear leg paresis, unable to use rear legs without assistance, weak withdrawal on toe pinch and doesn't show any pain reaction. Suspect slipped disc vs other spinal trauma. The bladder is easily expressed. Sweet dog. Will hold until the review date of 8/15! Pending response to treatment, if no redemption, will euthanize for medical!!!!
