About Kela

Handsome 5 year old male in need of a forever family (SF Bay Area California) This is Po'okela. In Hawaiian, 'po��okela' (pronounced poh-oh-keh-lah) means excellence. We call him Kela. He was born in Hawaii 4 years ago and went to live with my mom when I became a flight attendant and was unable to be home with him every day. He needs a forever home. He is a love who wants nothing more than to cuddle all day. His favorite activity is sleeping with his people. He prances and bumps into every thing due to cataracts. He is a healthy boy. The vet said no more treats lol. He eats dry food. Wet food gives him tummy issues. Kela gets along well with other dogs and is always wanting to play. He is gentle with my 9 month old son. Kela does not like to be alone and will bark. He is a Covid baby. The ideal home would be one where someone is often home and wants a buddy to keep them company. Kela will just sit with you and smile his big goofy grin. Kela does well in the house and needs to be let out to potty every few hours. He has many years to give to a loving person. We will miss him very much but I am unable to keep him. I am in East Contra Costa in the San Francisco Bay Area. I'm looking for a home within a couple of hours from me ideally, but open to further for the right family.
