Meet Scope - Your Adventure Buddy, Couch Cuddler & Loyal Best Friend %90%BE%9D%A4%8F Meet 4.5-year-old Scope, a ridiculously handsome Shepherd/Bull Terrier mix who is ready to trade waiting for a home for finally being home. Scope is the kind of dog who bonds deeply with his people. He's smart, affectionate, trained, adventurous, and once you're his person, he wants to be right there beside you-whether that means hitting the trail, playing tug in the backyard, going for a drive, or curling up together on the couch. And yes'| this 4-legged goofball can even climb into a hammock and cuddle with you without sending both of you flying. %9D%A4%8F ٤%A0 Smart Boy With Training Under His Belt Scope has already been through training and knows several commands, including: 'ۢ Sit 'ۢ Stay 'ۢ Back We'll be transparent: 'down' is not his favorite command. Apparently Scope has decided every gentleman is entitled to one boundary. He thrives with consistency and enjoys having structure and direction from his person. ٴ%BE Looking for an Adventure Partner? Scope LOVES his walks and would make an incredible hiking companion for someone who enjoys getting outside. He's equally happy playing with a rope toy in the backyard, running around with a compatible canine friend, or hopping into the car for an adventure. He does great on car rides. He previously had a female Kelpie friend he loved playing and running around the yard with, so he may enjoy sharing his home with the right compatible female dog after proper introductions. %9D%A4%8F Underneath the Handsome Exterior Is a Total Lovebug Once the adventures are over, Scope is all about affection. He loves: %9D%A4%8F Cuddling on the couch %9D%A4%8F Sleeping in bed with his person %9D%A4%8F Lounging together %9D%A4%8F Hanging out in a hammock %9D%A4%8F Simply being close to the people he trusts And when Scope is really happy? He smiles at you. There is something incredibly special about watching this handsome boy light up around the people he loves. %8F Scope Appreciates a Calm, Predictable Home Scope is housebroken and crate trained, and his crate is genuinely his safe place. If life gets a little overwhelming, he knows how to remove himself, go lie down in his crate, decompress, and reset. Because Scope is sensitive to loud noises and doesn't enjoy the unpredictable energy of toddlers, we believe he would thrive in a home with older, respectful children rather than young kids. He isn't an excessive barker either. He generally saves his voice for situations where he feels like he needs to alert you that someone is passing by the house or yard. ԩԬ He Loves His People in Different Ways Scope seems especially drawn to the calm, nurturing energy of women, but put him around a guy he likes and suddenly he gets a little extra pep in his step. He genuinely enjoys companionship and wants to feel like he belongs to someone. ٩ Even His Vet Visits Have Been Thought Through Scope is basket muzzle trained, which is an incredibly useful skill that helps make veterinary visits safer and less stressful for everyone involved. Muzzle training does not mean a dog is 'bad.' It means someone took the time to give Scope another tool to help him successfully navigate situations that may make him uncomfortable. %90%BE Scope's Dream Home Scope would love a home with someone who wants more than just a dog living in the house. He wants his person. Someone who will walk him. Someone who will adventure with him. Someone who understands that dogs can be sensitive individuals. Someone who will give him structure while also letting him climb into bed for cuddles at night. His ideal home would offer a calmer environment, older children if there are kids in the household, continued structure, exercise, affection, and possibly a compatible female canine companion. Scope has already learned so much. He's housebroken. He's crate trained. He rides beautifully in the car. He knows commands. He loves adventures. He knows how to settle. And most importantly, he knows how to love his person with his whole heart. At 4.5 years old, he's past the chaotic puppy stage but still young enough for years of hiking, road trips, backyard games, hammock snuggles, couch cuddles, and memories. Scope isn't looking for perfection. He's looking for someone to choose him, understand him, and finally let him know he's home. Could that person be you? %9D%A4%8F%90%BE
