Courtesy Posting: LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CA (but some transport may be available 2 hours east if you can meet halfway )- YOUNG FEMALE CHOW 'STELLA' IN NEED OF A LOVING, RESPONSIBLE HOME W/ BREED EXPERIENCE/PRIOR OWNERSHIP, people and dog friendly with dogs in her home Please help us find a loving, responsible chow savvy home for beautiful Stella, an approximate 1 year old, 45 lb, female chow who was found abandoned in a vacant home with several other dogs. Stella has since been vaccinated and has a spay appointment in LA that must be adhered to. Her finder says, 'She is very friendly, loves kids and dogs. I'm not sure about cats. She is potty trained and was left behind in a backyard in Victorville when the renters moved out. She is not fixed yet. I'd like a rehoming fee of $200 if possible.' If you are breed savvy and are interested in meeting and adopting Stella in person or meeting nearby, please contact [email protected] or Southern California Chow Chow Rescue Network who is assisting the finder with her placement. Sorry, we do not transport to private homes unless a rescue is involved due to risks of a home or dog not working out for any reason. If you do have another pet, a meet and greet is strongly recommended. And any new dog in a home, and particularly as chow grows up, their personality with others and other dogs may also change, Early and continued socialization with both is important. All adopters will be asked for a home check (which may be virtual), an application, a vet reference, proof of prior or current chows, and a signed adoption contract.
