About LEO

Hi Rescue, I hope this message finds you well. I'm reaching out on behalf of a dog in urgent need of rescue placement. His name is Leo, and he's an 7-year-old, 50 lb Labrador Pit Bull mix. He is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and has been loved and cared for by his family until recently. Unfortunately, after the recent arrival of a new baby in the home, the dog began exhibiting aggressive behavior toward me and our newborn. Out of fear and concern we remlved him from our home. Leo is now living temporarily with my parents, but this is not a long-term solution, and he cannot return to his original home. We are desperate to find a rescue that can provide a safe space, training resources, and ultimately a path to a new forever home. It's important to note that he is also dog-aggressive, so he would need to be the only pet in the home. This is a sweet dog who is simply struggling with a situation that has changed dramatically for him, and we're hoping a compassionate and experienced rescue might be able to give him the second chance he deserves.
