Jenna Anne is a warrior! She is strong! She is resilient! And she is so lucky to be alive! Jenna Anne is named after a good Samaritan that saw her in a window two months after the her family was evicted. Two months without food and water! How she is alive we do not know. She was extremely emaciated. No muscle left, just skin and bones. We rushed her to the emergency hospital right away. Bloodwork show that she was anemic from being without food and water for so long, but most of her organ functions were still OK. This was amazing news! Unfortunately, when we did x-rays, it showed that she was eating anything she could find and had non-food materials in her stomach. She was able to pass them without surgically removing the content. We had to feed her slow small meals so she wouldn't develop refeeding syndrome. That could have been life-threatening. After a couple months, she had repeat lab work and it showed that all the abnormalities had corrected themselves and she was a happy, healthy girl. Now she that can finally find a stable home that will love her for the rest of her life! Jenna Anne gets along well with other cats and does fine around dogs. She would make a great addition to your family! If you would like to meet her fill out this form to get the process started. Would you like to meet this young lady?
