About Dixie

Dixie is a 3 year old female intact purebred bloodhound, known for her amazing tracking ability and high prey drive. She used to live on a large acre property, roaming and protecting the property from coyotes. She will not do well in a small apartment, and does not like other dogs, but is very kind to humans even strangers. She needs to have a job or she feel like she has not fulfilled her potential. She has no known health conditions and has been examined by a veterinarian, has a clean bill of health, heartworm negative.
