About Buddy

COURTESY POST Introducing darling BUDDY! This senior cutie has no idea that he is 11 years old. His zest for life is absolutely infectious! Buddy LOVES walks and would be happy to help keep you in shape. He's super playful, loves his squeaker toys, enjoys a good game of fetch and will drop the ball at your feet. He is super smart, engaging, eager to please, loves treats and takes them gently. Buddy knows sit, paw, 'touch' and would love to learn more! Buddy is affectionate and loving, enjoys cuddling in your lap and being brushed. Once he knows and trusts you, he gives sweet kisses on your nose or cheek. He enjoys car rides and does great in the car. Buddy is a bit insecure and takes a while to trust. He demonstrates this by resource guarding. We address this by providing Buddy with his own basket of toys and by offering him something he wants more if we need to take something from him. Buddy enjoys of the company of other dogs when on a walk, however, given his propensity to resource guard, best as an only dog. No dog parks. No cats. Best in an adult-only home.
