Baby Ruth was 1 of a litter of 11 babies found abandoned in a culvert in Texas at just 3 weeks old, covered in fleas and severely anemic. Unfortunately, 2 did not make it and passed within 24 hours, 1 was adopted locally and Baby Ruth and her brother (adopted now) hit one more obstacle when being held back from a transport up north with the 6 remaining siblings due to being in contact with illness. She has a clear bill of health now and is ready to find her forever family. Baby Ruth is a survivor and is the last available pup of 11 siblings. She is playful, full of energy and a pretty typical heeler mix puppy with lots of love to give and learning in her future. She has been doing well with a consistent routine with potty training, but will need continued work. She is quiet in her kennel overnight and enjoys playing with kids. She enjoys other dogs, but can be a little dominant and needs reminders to play gently with them. The last picture is her baby picture. If you feel that you have what it takes to give this special girl her forever home, apply today!! Our Pack Animal Rescue, Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823. Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved. An approved application does not mean you must adopt the dog of interest, if it isn't a good fit.
