Meet Eris, who comes to us from the Cabarrus County Animal Shelter. Eris is a 3-year-old, approx. 60 lb., Greyhound. He was unfortunately part of a cruelty case and while the decision from court was being made, he had to spend 17 months in the shelter. He was emancipated and had his muzzle / mouth duct taped shut. Thankfully, we were able to secure a spot for him in our rescue, and we are able to play an important role in helping him find his second chance. Eris had a rough start in life but still has a happy and hopeful disposition. He is loving, plays well with toys, wants to be by your side, affectionate, is good with other dogs, crate trained, rides well in the car, and is very well mannered on leash. Eris is up to date on his vaccines and is scheduled to be neutered in the next few days. He is also in need of a foster home and is currently living in boarding. If you would like to meet this amazing guy and consider giving him the loving and safe home he deserves, please reach out to us for an application.
