To make matters worse, both puppies were suffering from severe Parvo. They spent a full month in the hospital undergoing rigorous, intensive treatment. Sadly, despite every effort, her brother did not survive. Kai fought through against all odds, beating the virus and living on for both of them. She is a resilient, strong soul who was meant to be here. The Honest Truth: Kai has been loved deeply since her rescue, but life recently threw her family a major curveball. Due to a severe, long-term family medical crisis, Kai didn't get the socialization or consistent behavioral training she needed during her formative months. Because of this, she is currently a bit of a 'wild child' on the leash and around other dogs. She isn't a 'plug-and-play' dog-she is a project dog who is waiting for the right leader to guide her.
