About Dash Urgent Listed

URGENT!!!!! DASH, A2210345 - MALE, Age: 1 YEAR 1 MONTH, 42.00 lbs. This animal has been at the shelter since 07/20/2025 and on this list since 08/08/2025. Urgent Listing Reason: Dash, who has been in the shelter for 19 days with no adoption interest. Upon entry, Dash understandably displayed fear, anxiety, and stress (FAS). He was placed on pharmaceutical intervention, but this was discontinued as there was no change in his behavior. When leashing Dash, he panics. Although he seems to be better behaved once out of his kennel, his in-kennel and leash behavior should be addressed once adopted. Around other dogs, Dash is tolerant. We are currently unable to supply Dash with the resources he needs, and keeping him in the shelter is inhumane given his current condition. Dash should be adopted as soon as possible to prevent further deterioration caused by the shelter environment.
