Update: He is now scheduled to be euthanized on 8/26!!!! URGENT LISTED!!!!DOMINGO, A2207016 - NEUTERED MALE, BLACK LABRADOR RETR MIX, Shelter: SOUTH L.A. Age: 1 YEAR 6 MONTHS, 45.10 lbs. This animal has been at the shelter since 07/02/2025 and on this list since 08/09/2025. Urgent Listing Reason: Domingo has been at the shelter for 38 days without any adoption interest. Domingo is beginning to display behavioral concerns, including growling, defensive lunging, snapping towards the bottom of the kennel as he tracks movement, and anxiousness. He can be assertive when co-mingling with other dogs. Although he has been doing better around other dogs in the past he's had to wear a muzzle when interacting with them due to fighting. We are unable to provide Domingo with the resources he needs, and his continued stay in the shelter environment is becoming inhumane. To prevent further deterioration of his behavior, it is crucial that Domingo be adopted as soon as possible.
