About Izzy

Adorable little Izzy is looking for a home in Orange County! She is estimated to be about 2 years old, weighs 12lbs, and has the cutest underbite. We think she might be a Tibetan Spaniel or Pekingese mix of some sort, but who knows! She ended up at the shelter as a stray before we rescued her, so her background is a mystery. So far, Izzy is a very sweet but pretty shy girl at first. We've started to see more tail wags out of her as she's getting more comfortable in her foster home, and she's doing well with the other dogs in her foster home. She is an expressive little gal! As she's started getting more playful, we've seen she likes to talk during play, which is adorable! She can be a bit whiny in her crate, but that should improve as she gets more settled. She will also squeak at you if you are eating something she'd like you to share. ���� Izzy definitely isn't a fan of barking dogs and can get overwhelmed quickly when barking is going on. She's also very hesitant around men but is warming up to the man in her foster home. Slow and steady will win the race with this little angel. We think she would do well in a home with older, respectful, calm kids. She'd also love to have a family who is around to cuddle and hold her as much as possible. So far, she is very Velcro. �ٴ� She has yet to have an accident in her foster home, but her fosters have been diligent about monitoring her and taking her out for potty breaks.
