Transport is available to out of state adopters Dear kind human, My name is Cupcake, and I'm just a little dog. I've never written anything before but today I'm writing with a trembling heart - not just for me, but for my sister, Milkshake. We're only about a year and a half old. Babies, really. But right now, our world is falling apart. Our foster mom loves us so much but she'is about to have heart surgery, and she can't care for us anymore. I know she is so stressed about that and I feel so bad but We don't know what's coming next. All we know is, if we don't find a home together, we may lose everything - including each other. Milkshake is shy and gentle. She doesn't really know how to be brave unless I'm beside her. She follows me everywhere - when we eat, when we nap, when we play - always with her soft little head pressed against mine. If we're separated I don't know how we'll survive it. Our hearts would break into pieces too small to mend. We're only 38 lbs each. We don't take up much space. We're quiet, house-trained, sweet as can be, and we love people and other dogs. We just need someone, somewhere to give us a chance to stay side by side like we've always been. I know you probably hear from a lot of dogs. But today, I'm begging you don't look away. Please help us stay together. Please help us find a place to be safe and loved. We promise to fill your home with twice the love and none of the trouble.
