About Whiskey

A 'breeder' of miniature schnauzers became ill and asked a friend to help find homes for all her dogs. The dogs had been living in crates and were in terrible shape when they first arrived, many were matted and had atrocious breath due to poor food they were given. Whiskey received a dental cleaning at the time of his neuter and is now also up to date on his shots. This cute fellow has a black and white 'parti' color coat. They are all shy but slowly coming out of their shells, some quicker than others. Whiskey loves exploring the shelter surroundings. He wasn't interested in treats but he liked playing with the stuffed toys. He did a play bow and started to play a bit. He is still a bit shy but you can see him looking for affection and to be held. Whiskey is about a year old and only 8 pounds. Please help Whiskey find the loving home he deserves. ***You must provide a vet reference for a current or past pet you have/had.*** We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.
