About SKYY PENDING ADOPTION

PENDING ADOPTION PLEASE submit a form of interest to www.socalweimrescue.or/pages/adopt The SKYY is the limit with this 8 month old beauty. This super friendly social ACTIVE outgoing wonderful girl is a purebred Weim. She is like all active Weimaraners.......into most things but a quick learner and eager to please. Skyy was adopted by a military family who never had a Weim before. OOPS! Their schedule kept them away from home long hours while Skyy's mind was like an inmate in prison...WHAT CAN I DO TO KEEP BUSY! She was crated and of course decided the bedding would be loads of fun to tear up and the 'jail' was meant to break out of. So her family would come home many hours later wondering why the crate was soiled, torn up, and an absolute mess! This resulted in several UTI'S. Her family was perplexed and took her to the vet to find out why she was having infections only to then have a reaction to the urine collecting procedure. Skyy came out of it with some knuckling in her hind paws. After several hours of recovery her legs returned to normal and all has been resolved with her legs and the UTI's. She then was kept in a small outside kennel run where she was free to do her business (hence no more UTI's) but she was still horribly bored with her mind reeling on things to keep her busy. She learned to escape the short white vinyl fence by jumping on the dog house and going into the forbidden Garden of Eden of the yard. So here we are...her family is finding that they do not spend enough time home with her so her puppy ways are not improving without any human interaction. Skyy is yearning for love, for activity, runs on the beach or just some cuddles on a couch. She is great with other dogs and lived with a labrador. The family expected a Weimaraner to be just as easy as a Lab and we all know otherwise! Skyy is housebroken and crate trained if not left for overly long hours. She has a docked tail. SKYY IS A PUPPY! She will need some work and weimaraner knowledge but is surely very willing to please. She is fostered in the San Diego area moving up to Riverside in a day or two. We will keep this updated. Come meet this devilish angel! She is not spayed due to age so will be adopted with a spay contract.
