About Mary

This adorable girl is Mary. She is a one-year-old dachshund mix and weighs just 12.8 lb. Mary is at a foster home, not at our shelter. Her foster says 'Mary is the sweetest dog. She arrived very scared with her tail between her legs. Within just three days, she has opened up...wagging her tail and playing with toys. She loves nothing more than to cuddle with you up on the couch. Mary follows me around and just keeps an eye on what I am doing. She appears to be housetrained but does not seem to love the leash. Mary is a timid girl who will need time to get to know you, but will then be your best friend.' Mary should be fine with gentle children and other dogs. She previously lived with two other small dogs. We doubt she would have a problem with cats, but can cat-test her if needed. Mary is microchipped, vaccinated, spayed and healthy.
