About Cody

This handsome guy is Cody. He is a 3 years old Australian Cattle Dog mix who weighs 50 pounds. Cody is very smart. He knows: Sit, Down, Stay, Go to bed, Come, and Paw. He also knows some tricks: Guard (go between legs) Orbit (circle you). This dog is so smart! Lastly, Cody is house and crate trained. Cody is good with men, women, and older kids. Cody is good with small dogs after a polite introduction. It takes a little longer for him to get comfortable with larger dogs. He has successfully lived with larger and smaller dogs in the past, including a chihuahua and Huskies. He is still friends with two huskies that he used to live with and does like to play a bit. He can be good with calm, dog savvy cats. For cats who are nervous, he gets too excited. Cody loves to fetch. Click on the red YouTube button to see him fetch. He is good on leash, though sometimes reacts to other dogs who walk by. Cody is also good in the car. Cody is a loyal boy who really bonds with his person. His new owner should know the breed and know how to manage a herder with tendencies to guard the home. For that owner, Cody loves snuggles. Plus, he likes to carry (not chew) shoes and socks! Plus, Cody likes to play a game called find it. You hide treats in difficult spots and say 'find it' and he'll sniff everything to find the treat.��%BD��%BD%BD%A0 Cody is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations.
