Trooper is a great dog! We adopted him and his brother Scout as a pair and they have been great but we are gone so much and they really like to be around people. They tend to chew things up if home alone. They are not kennel trained. I have an 8 and 3 year old. They are great with the 8 year old but tolerate the 3 year old. I would say best with older children. They do need to go as a pair as they have been together since birth.
