About Kimber

Hi there, I'm Kimber, and I've been holding it together since the day my world changed. Seven months ago, my beloved human passed away unexpectedly, and though I stayed by his side until help came, life hasn't been the same since. But I'm not giving up-I know there's a forever home out there for me, one filled with love, stability, and maybe a couch or bed I can call mine again. I'm a 5-year-old spayed female Rottweiler, around 90 lbs of pure love, and yes-I'm a gentle, sweet, soulful companion who still believes in the goodness of people. I'm currently living with a very kind family who took me in when no one else could, but they're facing serious medical challenges and can no longer keep me. They love me enough to want more for me-and that's why they reached out for help. �Ϭ Here's what makes me special: I'm great with other dogs (big and small!)-I love to play, tug toys, and I even share treats without a fuss. I'm house-trained, non-destructive, and love to snooze in bed with my humans. I'm wonderful with kids, including toddlers-I've met many neighborhood children and enjoy their company. I know basic commands like sit, down, and shake, and I'm treat-motivated (especially if you have snacks to share). I've been consistently vetted, vaccinated, and spayed-my health is in good hands. I'll be honest-I do love to chase cats and bunnies, so a home without small animals is best for me. And while I don't have a fenced yard, I stay close to home thanks to training with a vibrate-only collar. I walk well on leash and am happy to stroll right beside you. Even though I've gone through loss and change, I'm resilient, loyal, and full of heart. I bond deeply, and I'm happiest when I'm with my people.
