Hi there! I'm Athena, and if you're looking for a sweet, smart, playful companion who loves attention, you may have just found your girl! I'm a friendly and affectionate pup who gets along great with other dogs-especially the little ones. I live with a 5-pound PomChi and we have the best play sessions! I do have one complicated relationship with my housemate, a male Mal-shi who doesn't like me much�'�| and sometimes I've reacted when there's a ball or squirrel involved. So, I'd be happiest in a home without dominant male dogs or high-prey drive triggers. I'm a total social butterfly-I adore people, love meeting the neighborhood kids who stop by to pet me, and I do great at doggy daycare, where the staff say I'm a joy to have around. I've also been boarded when my humans are away and I handle it like a champ! While I don't have a fenced yard, I do great on a leash (I'm working on minor pulling), and I wear my prong collar like a pro. I love going for daily walks (at least a mile!) and I especially love chasing balls-it's my favorite thing in the whole world! I'm crate trained, good in public, and love routine. Kid-friendly and human-approved! Best suited for a home where I'll get plenty of exercise and someone who loves an active, engaging dog.
