Meet Sprocket - Small Start, Big Heart, Bright Future Sprocket is a 5-month-old Shepherd mix who's come a long way in a short time. When we pulled him from the pound, he was dangerously underweight and battling severe intestinal parasites that nearly took his life. But this little fighter didn't give up-and now, at 15 lbs, he's healthy, happy, and finally out of quarantine! He still has a few pounds (and muscles!) to gain and may grow to around 40 lbs, give or take, but due to how sick he was, he might stay on the smaller side for his breed mix. Despite everything, Sprocket is a happy, easy-going pup with a sunny disposition and a strong desire to please. He missed out on early training and socialization because of his rough start, but he's smart, eager to learn, and ready to make up for lost time. %90%BE Why training matters - and why now is the perfect time: We've started the basics with Sprocket during his recovery-getting him used to routine, working on socialization, and giving him the building blocks for success. But now that he's healthy, it's time for him to move on to his forever home where he can continue learning and bonding with his very own family. Training a puppy isn't just about teaching manners-it's about shaping a dog that fits into your life and routine. Sprocket is a blank canvas, and with time, patience, and love, he can grow into the perfect companion for your family. Because he's still young, he'll do best in a home where someone is around more often than not to guide him, teach him, and cheer him on every step of the way. Ϭ If you're ready to raise a loyal companion from the ground up, Sprocket is ready to meet you. Give this little survivor a chance-he's already proven he's worth it.
