KODIAK is located in southeast Arizona, between Benson and Willcox. His foster home is approximately 2 1/2 hours from Tempe or an hour east of Tucson. KODIAK appears to be a purebred Siberian Husky. He is approximately 5 years old and weighs only 38 pounds, he should weigh at least 45 pounds, we are working on that. WHAT HAPPENED TO KODIAK!!! KODIAK was picked up by animal control as a stray. He was in terrible condition, he was thin, and his hair was matted with dread locks. However, he obviously came from a loving home. He is very sweet and appears well socialized. He allowed the groomer to clean him up and she mentioned he was so well behaved and must have been groomed in the past. He loves to ride on the floor of the scooter; somebody had to have loved him enough to teach him. He is a little shy at first, but he warms up nicely, He does not have an aggressive bone in his body to other dogs or humans. KODIAK came to us knowing how to use the dog door and is well house trained and has great manners. KODIAK could be an apartment dog; he is quiet and easy. We are still in shock with KODIAK's history, how did a loved, well-mannered boy end up on the streets in terrible condition. By the way, he has absolutely no urge to run away. He was locked out the gate by the garage man by accident (5 minutes) and he was sitting by the gate patiently waiting to come back in. Please come meet this marvelous, sweet boy that truly deserves another loving home and a true forever home. 602-316-8919
