About Colt

Colt is a male beagle mix born on 6/10/2025 who was born with us after we pulled his very pregnant momma (30lb beagle) from an overcrowded local shelter. The dad was likely a jack Russell terrier, so we assume he will be 25-30lbs when fully grown. Being so young, Colt gets along with everyone (dogs, cats and children), but socialization is a necessity to be continued as he grows! At this time, he is not yet housebroken, but in his foster home, they will be working on all of the basics obedience basics: housebreaking, crate training, leash walking and general obedience. In his forever home, it will be crucial that the proper time is taken to keep training Colt so he can be the best puppy as he grows into an adult dog - our board can be available to help as needed.
