About GALAXY GIRL

Pit Bull mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

BDRA is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) charity that accepts no fees when helping individuals or other rescues. 100% of donations go directly to the care of the animals. If you'd like to help us continue our mission, please donate at: https://www.blinddogrescue.org/donate-1. Name: Galaxy Girl Age: Somewhere around a year old, 30 pounds Breed: Possibly small Bully breed Sex: Female (not spayed) Location: Chilton County, Alabama Poor sweet Galaxy Girl was dumped out of a car. Good Samaritans family member witnessed it. (Unable to get plate number). GS was able to catch her and take her in until finding a new home. Vet Info: No vet info available. Malnourished, full of ticks (since removed), possibly fully blind. Dog Info: Galaxy Girl is house broken but not leash trained. She is nervous when meeting new people but it took her just a couple days to warm up to GS. GG is good with men, women and teenagers but GS does not think it would be wise to have her around small children because she is blind and had been abused. She is good with male and female dogs as well as cats. GS is not in the position to have her vetted and needs to find her a home quickly. GG came with a skin rash with fur loss. She is very sweet once she feels comfortable with you. Loud noises do make her nervous (another reason small kids might not do well with her). She is food reactive, but not aggressive. Once she knows that she is safe and will get food every day, this may improve. She also gets nervous when you walk up to her without speaking to her. GS is learning new things every day but would really like to get her into a good home soon so she can really begin her recovery from her old life. **Owner Surrender Disclaimer: These are blind and visually impaired dogs who are living in homes, but their owners can no longer keep them.
