About Sora

Sora has been waiting to get adopted for almost 2 years! We rescued Sora in April 2024. He was sick and abandoned on the streets of Phoenix. Despite having a rough start in life, he has a very fun personality. Sora is obsessed with cat tunnels. Sometimes you'll even see him napping in them. His cuddly side comes out when you have a fuzzy blanket. But he also has a playful side that will go crazy for wand toys and laser pointers. Sora is the perfect combination of energetic and laid-back. He gets excited when you come home and likes to greet you at the door while meowing. Sora's ideal family wouldn't have dogs or other cats since he doesn't get along with either. He does well with older kids. He is about 4 years old, neutered, microchipped, snap tested, dewormed, his blood work is normal, and he just got a dental cleaning in 2025. Sora is FIV positive. It sounds scary, but we promise that it isn't. Simply put, it means that he has a weakened immune system. It's very common among male street cats. FIV doesn't kill cats, so they can live just as long as healthy cats. The great news is that Sora is one of our cats that is available for out of state adoption. Sora wants nothing more than to have a family and home to call his own.
