About Keith

Keith is, by far, the most social and loving cat we have. Everyone he meets immediately becomes his new best friend, including the vet. He loves to play with feather wand toys and is learning to play fetch with his spring toys. Keith also adores snuggling with you at night and giving you kisses. He adores absolutely any attention you will give him. When birds are outside the window, he gets excited and will start to chatter at them. Keith has stolen the heart of every person that has met him. One important thing you need to know about Keith is that he is FIV positive. Despite many misconceptions, FIV cats can live a long and happy life. The simplest way to explain it is that Keith has a weakened immune system. So it's important to keep up with his yearly vet visit to make sure he is healthy. Keith's ideal family wouldn't have any dogs or cats and he is most happy when it's just him and his owner. He does well with children over the age of 12 years old. He is on a wet food only diet and isn't able to eat dry food because his body has a hard time digesting it. He is neutered, microchipped, snap tested, his blood work was good and dewormed.
