About Catahoula/Pit Mix

This here is M.D. he's one year old doesn't have a mean bone in him. He's very sweet but high energy. I am fostering him and his sister from a different litter. He's good with dogs but because he has a very high prey/hunting drive i wouldn't recommend small dogs. I wouldn't let him loose on small children because of his size at least not until he's trained. The people I'm fostering for haven't been able to place him and his sister and I can no longer keep them due to health issues and working to many hours. I cannot handle them they are too strong and have to much energy i have really bad arthritis. They are the sweetest dogs ever. If these two could be placed together it would be the best thing for them his sister is deaf and he knows how to handle her and they both play VERY rough! I'm 61 yrs old and they are so young and full of energy they need someone who is active and able to train them. I wanted to add that he is house broke he does good on the leash until he sees a small animal but when that happens I shorten the leash giving me more control. He plays hard and loves naps. Very affectionate too.
