About MINDY

MINDY is a gorgeous 9 pound Chihuahua puppy born on March 11, 2025. She was given up by a breeder because her cherry eye made her 'unsellable,' but she's had surgery to fix it and is now ready to show the world just how perfect she is. MINDY has a stunning silver Merle coat with black markings and a snowy white chest that makes her look extra fancy when she's zooming around the yard, which she does a lot! Her energy is overflowing, and she's always busy exploring, playing with toys (big or small, she loves them all), or finding something fun to investigate inside or out. Her ideal family will have another young, small dog for her to play with and to share adventures. We have not had her around cats or kids and think she would be fine with older kids. MINDY is very outgoing and friendly. When you meet her, she'll be all over you with kisses galore. When she is finally tired from her adventures and yard zoomies, she'll settle right into your lap for snuggles. In the morning, she loves to roll onto her back, stretch out her paws, and politely request some belly rubs. At night, MINDY sleeps quietly in her doggy bed in a puppy pen with her brother, Mork. She's learning to potty outside and uses puppy pads inside in the meantime. MINDY is looking for a family who loves puppy kisses, belly rubs, and a whole lot of playful energy. If that's you, she'll love you with her whole busy little heart! She has been to the vet for a wellness check, has had all of her puppy shots, is spayed, on heartworm prevention, and microchipped with a lifetime registration. *A Place of Hope Rescue is a foster-based rescue located in Pensacola, Florida. We do not have a physical facility for visits. To meet or adopt one of our dogs, you must first submit an adoption application for review. Puppies and dogs with pending vet appointments, and some dogs with behavioral or medical issues are only adoptable locally. We do not ship or transport our dogs.
