About MORK

MORK is a teeny Chihuahua 'pocket puppy' with a huge heart! Born on March 11, 2025, this tiny boy weighs just 5 pounds, but has plenty of personality packed into that little frame. Mork came to rescue after a breeder deemed him 'unsellable' due to a hernia and a cherry eye, both of which he's since had surgery to fix. MORK is sweet, gentle, and a bit shy when he first meets new people, but once he trusts you, you'll see his playful, silly side. He doesn't just walk, he prances. Crinkly toys are his absolute favorite, and he'll happily entertain himself with one for ages. When it's time for treats, MORK stands on his back legs and does the cutest little begging dance with his front paws. MORK might be small, but that doesn't stop him from wrestling with his bigger sister, Mindy! He would be best in a home with another small young dog to grow up with. We do not know how he would be with cats and because of his small size young children are not a good fit. At night, MORK sleeps snug as a bug in his puppy pen, curled up in a cozy doggy bed under his blanket (he loves to burrow!). He uses potty pads inside and is working on learning to go potty outside too. MORK enjoys playing in the yard but prefers to stay close to his person. He's not the adventurous type like his sister, he'll stick by your side and soak up every bit of love and attention. If you're looking for a tiny companion with the sweetest prance and the biggest heart, MORK might just be your perfect match! MORK has had a full wellness check at our vet, has all of his puppy shots, is neutered, on heartworm prevention and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. When he had his neuter, he also had an inguinal hernia repaired and his cherry eye was fixed. *A Place of Hope Rescue is a foster-based rescue located in Pensacola, Florida. We do not have a physical facility for visits. To meet or adopt one of our dogs, you must first submit an adoption application for review. Please remember to check your spam folder for any communication from our team. We adopt to homes within a 1-6 hour drive to Pensacola. Puppies and dogs with pending vet appointments, and some dogs with behavioral or medical issues are only adoptable locally. We do not ship or transport our dogs.
